From the idyllic Southern Burgenland and proud Vas County, both in Western-Pannonia, to the most northern European wine pioneers in Groesbeek and the historically rich Saale-Unstrut river landscape, trekking and tasting around in green Vipava valley, biking alongside the sweet slopes and Danube strands of Ilok-Srijem, until finding endless sun, funny people and full bodied wines in the mountains of Bullas.
These vineyards belong to Bodega Monastrell, in the Bullas Origin Denomination area and just after the yoga lesson -run by the instructor Francisca Belluga- there will be a guided tour with Alfonso García Sánchez, wine-producer and owner of the winery.
The outdoors yoga lesson will start at 10 a.m. and the guided tour to the winery at 11.30 a.m. One hour later there will be a tasting of the wines Chaveo, Valché and Almudí, all of them combined with several “tapas”.
The Aceniche Valley is an area declared of landscape interest due to its beauty and ecological value, with an altitude of 825 metres above sea level and surrounded by mountains. Fresh air, high lands, clay soil with plenty of stones and a microclimate ideal for the vine growing, including one of the highest levels of rainfall in the Region of Murcia.
The fare of the activity is 12 €/person and it is necessary bringing sport clothes, a small blanket or towel. The yoga instructor of the school Francisca Belluga says that “it is a very special activity focused in the outdoors sport practise, healthy life and spirituality, but also in knowing a winery with a commitment with the indigenous grape variety and the traditional way of harvest”.
Murcia’s masters Alejandro Garriga and Juan Ferré are the creators and responsible of this school which fosters martial arts techniques, philosophy and spirit, offering lessons of daruma, daisai, kobudo and yoga.
